Overnight Highlights

  • Overnight grain markets have corn + ¾, soybeans +2, and wheat – ¼.     
  • Outside markets have crude oil +.47, dollar +.14, gold -1.90 and the Dow +22.
  • Renewable fuel credits dropped as traders are concerned about PEOTUS Trump’s choice to lead the EPA.
  • Thursday funds sold 15,000 soybeans, 8,000 corn, 4,000 meal, 8,000 oil.  Bought 4,000 wheat.
  • Taiwan bought 65K mt of U.S. corn, and Israel bought 95K of optional origin corn for early Spring shipment.
  • The USDA will release its monthly production report today at 11am.
