Overnight Highlights

  • Overnight markets have corn + ¼, soybeans -2 ½, wheat -2, crude oil +.38, dollar +.20, gold -9.70 and the Dow -9.
  • Grain markets traded lower with hints of drier weather for Argentina and the Dollar up overnight.
  • South Korea purchased 140K MT of non-GMO U.S. soybeans for 2018.
  • A senior transition official announced that PEOTUS Trump will name former Georgia Governor, Sonny Perdue, as the nominee for Secretary of Agriculture.
  • Weekly export sales will be announced tomorrow due to the Monday holiday.
  • Funds bought 8,000 soybeans, 2,000 corn, 5,000 meal. Sold 2,000 wheat and even oil.
