National Biodiesel Board Brings in Former EPA Fuels Specialist

SHARE

The National Biodiesel Board is bringing in former EPA Fuels Specialist Lindsay Fitzgerald to fill a new position overseeing regulatory affairs in Washington, D.C. NBB Vice President of Federal Affairs Anne Steckel says biodiesel is already a great Renewable Fuel Standard success story. She says adding Fitzgerald to the team will only build on that success. Fitzgerald worked on the RFS while serving in the EPA Office of Transpiration and Air Quality.

Steckel says her extensive knowledge of the RFS will be a tremendous benefit to the industry and NBB members as they navigate the program. Steckel says NBB looks forward to working with EPA to ensure advanced biofuels and the RFS continue meeting the goals of increasing U.S. energy security, strengthening the economy and reducing emissions.
