Points Chase Ends Sunday for RHR and IndyCar Series

This weekend marks the season-ending race for points in the IndyCar Series. They’ll return to the site of the dramatic finale one year ago, Chicagoland Speedway near Joliet, Illinois. There is plenty on the line for points leader Scott Dixon and Helio Castroneves. They’re battling in this one race for the championship. But the rest in the top 10 are looking to improve their positions. Ryan Hunter-Reay currently sits in 9th place, but he will need a strong performance Sunday to hold that spot or even move up. Ryan talks to us about Chicago, and his previous two races, road courses at Sonoma and Detroit where he qualified well, but didn’t finish to his liking.

The Peak Antifreeze and Motor Oil Indy 300 qualifying is Saturday and the race is scheduled for 3:30 ET Sunday on ABC and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network.
