In the newest Eye on the Ethanol Car Ryan talks about driving in tight quarters with Tony Kanaan, and just what drivers are dealing with in the tight quarters of pit lane. The IndyCar Series is again coming off a one week break this week following 300 miles in Kentucky on August 9th. At Kentucky Speedway Ryan Hunter-Reay notched his third top ten in a row and sits in 8th position in season points. The #17 car qualified 14th and finished 9th, so it was a good race from the standpoint of driver standings. But as Ryan points out the car was solid and he had his sights on a better finish.

The Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma at Infineon Raceway is this weekend. Qualifying is Saturday August 23. The race is scheduled for 5:30 ET Sunday August 24 on ESPN2 and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network.
