Bring on the Ferris Wheel, the 4-H Projects & CountryMark Fuels!

It’s finally time to celebrate the Year of the Dairy Cow! The 2012 Indiana State Fair is quickly approaching and will run from August 3-19 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis. As a farmer-owned cooperative, the CountryMark system is proud to support the fair again this year and fairgoers will see the support of the CountryMark brand throughout the 17 days of the fair.

In the carnival area, CountryMark fuels will power the rides that thrill the young and old alike. The carnival chose CountryMark’s Super Dieselex-4 with a B5 biodiesel blend. The state fair shuttles will be powered by CountryMark’s Super Dieselex-4 with a B20 biodiesel blend. Fairgoers will no doubt be impressed with the power and performance of our American-made fuel!

Many performances will take place during the fair at the Pioneer Village Stage in the Antique Barn and Opry House. CountryMark is proud to sponsor this stage which provides outstanding entertainment for countless Hoosier visitors. Just outside the Opry House, visitors can see CountryMark’s fully restored antique tankwagon.

On August 10, CountryMark and Co-Alliance will co-sponsor the 17th annual “World’s Largest Drive-Thru Breakfast.” For just $3, fairgoers will receive:

• Breakfast Bagel Sandwich

• Coffee, Juice, or Milk

• FREE Fair Admission Ticket good August 3-19, 2012

The Drive-Thru Breakfast will be open on Friday, August 10 from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. To snag this breakfast deal, fairgoers will need to enter the fairgrounds through gate 6 off Fall Creek Parkway. Proceeds from the breakfast will benefit the Indiana State Fair Foundation.

On August 15, fairgoers can take in a Lt. Governor Debate hosted by the Indiana AgrIInstitute and sponsored in part by CountryMark. This is a great opportunity to hear from the state’s three Lt. Governor Candidates. Their debate is scheduled for Wednesday, August 15 between 3 and 4 p.m. in the Indiana State Fair Farm Bureau Building.
