Hoosier Ag Today, Indiana’s farm network, is proud to announce that Cayla McLeland has joined the organization as Regional Sales Manager and Regional Farm Broadcaster. “Cayla will combine her on-air and sales skills to improve our customer service and news gathering throughout Indiana and into surrounding states,” said Gary Truitt, President of Hoosier Ag Today. A native of Cass County, Indiana, McLeland comes to HAT from Cumulus Media where she served as Promotion Director, Account Executive, and Broadcast Personality at WMDH-FM in New Castle, IN.
In this newly created position, McLeland will work with HAT sponsors to maximize the impact of their marketing campaigns and integrate broadcast and digital products offered by Hoosier Ag Today. In addition to serving clients in Indiana, she will work with agribusinesses throughout the Midwest to add a multi-state dimension to their marketing plans. In this regard, McLeland will be working with the J.L. Farmakis organization to combine and coordinate regional broadcast coverage.
McLeland will also join the award winning, broadcast team of Gary Truitt and Andy Eubank. Her presence will provide added depth to HAT’s already impressive farm news coverage and will extend that coverage to events outside of Indiana. She will also spearhead Hoosier Ag Today’s new video service which will deliver on-location video reports to a farmer’s Smartphone via the Hoosier Ag Today Smartphone app.
