Hoosier Ag Today (HAT), Indiana’s leading agricultural news network, launched a newly revamped multimedia website on September 8, 2023.

The site, located at www.hoosieragtoday.com, delivers state, regional and national farm news, markets, ag weather forecasts and network-produced podcasts on which Indiana farmers have come to trust and depend on since 2006. Designed in cooperation with InterTech Media, the site presents information in a modern, easy to navigate, dynamic format that meets the visual demands of the many devices and platforms today’s farmers use.

The site also provides a wide variety of opportunities for advertisers to reach this important audience with their messages without detracting from the information farmers are seeking. Other HAT platforms have been seamlessly incorporated into the site, including the HAT daily e-newsletter, YouTube channel, Facebook, and X channels.

HAT President Andy Eubank led a team of Eric Pfeiffer, VP of News, and Elise Koning, Video Specialist & Special Projects Manager, in developing the site.

InterTech Media also is currently developing a HAT mobile app set to launch in the near future that will mirror the new HAT website and deliver numerous additional features for both users and advertisers.

Markets and Weather remain the two top pieces of information farmers want. The new HAT site features a comprehensive Markets page with easy-to-read grain, livestock, energy, metals, currency, indices, and rates. A Market Snapshot is located on the home page for quick and easy reference. HAT Chief Meteorologist Ryan Martin produces a daily Ag Weather Forecast that tops the weather section. In addition, the site offers a local weather forecast based on the user’s location in both a written and audio format.

HAT radio programs remain the most-listened-to farm programs in the state. The new website contains an interactive page that allows users to find the radio stations that serve their areas, along with a link to each station’s web site.
