Indiana Farm Bureau is now accepting applications for its student scholarship program for the 2024-2025 school year. This year, INFB is introducing the Ag Impact Scholarship, which will highlight applicants who demonstrate a lasting effect on Indiana agriculture.
Three recipients will each receive a $2,000 scholarship. This new scholarship program is designed to focus on the applicant’s current involvement, future commitment, and potential impact in agriculture as well as academic and career potential.
The applicant must be a high school senior and must have been an INFB member, or have immediate family who has been an INFB member, for the past three consecutive years.
In addition to the new Ag Impact Scholarship, INFB offers two Collegiate Farm Bureau $1,000 scholarships annually to existing Collegiate Farm Bureau members. Winners of these scholarships must be members of an INFB collegiate chapter at Purdue University, Vincennes University or Huntington University.
All INFB scholarship funds may be applied to tuition, housing, books and other educational expenses.
The deadline to apply is March 1. The applications ask students to detail their educational successes and answer several questions about their future educational and career goals.
Many county Farm Bureaus and INFB districts also offer annual scholarships for students in their area. To apply for a scholarship or learn more about the requirements, visit www.infb.org/scholarships.
