Stacey Crothers of Greenwood, Indiana is the winner of the 2013 Indiana FFA Truck Stampede. The drawing was held on FFA Day during the Indiana State Fair. Twenty FFA chapters participated in the 2013 Truck Stampede and they were able to raise a total of $14,234 for their chapters. The chapters are Greenfield Central, Owen Valley, South Spencer, Angola, Heritage Hills, LaVille, Western Wayne, Southmont, Perry Central, Tippecanoe Valley, Northwood, Western, Rossville, Shenandoah, Delphi, Bellmont, Pike Central, Heritage, South Putnam, and Knightstown. Perry Central FFA is credited for Stacey Crothers’ winning ticket.
The Indiana FFA Foundation was able to raise an additional amount of $35,477, making the grand total raised $49,711. Stacey chose the $25,000 cash option over driving home a new 2013 Silverado having just recently purchasiing a vehicle. Stacey said she will continue to support FFA by making her annual donation and appreciated Central Indiana Chevrolet Dealers support of the program. She plans to take a small vacation to Las Vegas for a few days to invest her Stampede winnings, as well as help further her children’s education.
