First Farmers Financial Corp. announced plans to open two new operational branches of First Farmers Bank & Trust by the fourth quarter of this year. The bank recently applied to federal and state regulatory agencies to convert a loan production office in Lafayette, IN to a full-service branch location. The office, located at 2049 Veterans Memorial Parkway, opened earlier this year with 4 full time employees. The estimated date for the location to operate as a full-service branch is September 1st, 2018.
The bank also announced plans for a new branch location to be added in Terre Haute, IN at 2359 St. Rd 46/ US 40. The building location currently houses Vigo County Federal Credit Union. The location will be the second operational branch of First Farmers Bank & Trust in Terre Haute and is estimated to be operational by October 1st, 2018.
