Delegates to Indiana Farm Bureau’s annual convention reelected Isabella Chism of Howard County by acclamation to another term as the organization’s second vice president. Chism was first elected in 2006. In addition to serving as second vice president and as a member of the board of directors for Indiana Farm Bureau Inc. and Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance, she chairs the 10-member INFB Women’s Leadership Committee.
Chism also represents the Midwest region on the American Farm Bureau Federation Women’s Leadership Committee. She and her husband, Kent, raise corn, soybeans and sweet corn in Howard County. They have three grown children, all of whom are married with children. Their two daughters and sons-in-law farm with them.
INFB’s convention, which was held in French Lick, concludes Saturday.
