Indiana Senator Joe Donnelly, member of the Senate Agriculture Committee, has received the National Farmers Union’s Golden Triangle Award, recognizing his leadership and support of policies benefiting America’s family farmers and ranchers. “When I travel home, I listen to Hoosier farmers and producers to learn how I can help advocate for their best interests in Washington,” said Donnelly. “I am honored to receive this award from the National Farmers Union and I will continue to be a strong advocate for our nation’s agriculture and rural communities, working to give them the resources and stability that they need to be successful.”
The Golden Triangle Award has been presented every year since 1988. Recipients of this year’s award were selected based on their continued advocacy for the 2013 Farm Bill, dairy policy, competition, among other issues.
