The HAT Soil Health Podcast- The Legacy of Dave Brandt

Dave Brandt was an Ohio farmer who made a huge impact on the world of soil health. His sudden passing last year left a hole in the farming community. On this episode, we’re at the 32nd Annual National No-Tillage Conference reflecting on Dave’s legacy with his son Jay, and one of Dave’s many mentees, Jimmy Emmons from Oklahoma.

Jay and Jimmy were panelists during the David Brandt Memorial Lecture Series, “Spreading the No-Till Message: Farmer-to-Farmer Panel Discussion,” at the National No-Tillage Conference. It’s just one of the efforts to keep Dave Brandt’s message alive. Another effort is Fields of Sinsinawa, a learning center organized by farmers to promote practices that Dave shared with so many of his colleagues and mentees.
