The Hoosier Ag This Week Podcast for 10/19/24

We have a harvest update from southeastern Indiana. Plus, John Deere says they’re laying off more workers here in the U.S., but they insist those jobs are not being moved to Mexico.

You’ll also hear from Terry Goodin, the Democratic candidate for Indiana Lieutenant Governor, as he chats about ag policy positions that would be a priority if he and Jennifer McCormick, Democratic candidate for Indiana Governor, are elected on November 5th.

Plus, more than 70,000 students wearing blue corduroy jackets will be gathering in downtown Indianapolis this coming week for the 97th National FFA Convention and Expo! C.J. Miller chats with National FFA President Amara Jackson from Michigan, who gives us a preview of what FFA members will experience as part of the event that starts this Wednesday and runs through Saturday.

It’s all part of the Hoosier Ag This Week Podcast!
