The Hoosier Ag This Week Podcast for 6/8/24

On this edition of Hoosier Ag This Week: Now that Mexico has elected Claudia Sheinbaum as their new president, many ag leaders are hopeful that she will make some decisions to strengthen their ag trade relationship with the U.S. One of those ag leaders is Ted McKinney, who says he is optimistic that Sheinbaum will overturn Mexico’s ban on imports of U.S. biotech white corn.

Chief Meteorologist Ryan Martin says we’ll see several straight days of dry weather—with temperatures heating up by the end of this coming week. Plus, Brian Basting with Advance Trading reviews Friday’s grain markets.

Also, the 95th Indiana FFA State Convention is fast approaching—and Kelby Roberts of Rushville, who is finishing up her term as Indiana FFA President, talks about her busy summer plans. Following the convention, she’ll be trading in her Indiana FFA blue corduroy jacket for a crown and a sash to serve as Rush County 4-H Fair Queen!

That’s all part of the Hoosier Ag This Week Podcast!
