According to EIA data, ethanol production averaged 1.022 million barrels per day (b/d)—or 42.92 million gallons daily, on par with the prior week. The four-week average for ethanol production stood at 1.033 million b/d for an annualized rate of 15.84 billion gallons. Stocks of ethanol stood at 22.9 million barrels. That is nearly a 1% decrease from last week.Imports of ethanol were nonexistent for the 28th straight week.
Gasoline demand for the week averaged 389.3 million gallons (9.268 million barrels) daily. Refiner/blender input of ethanol averaged 877,000 b/d.
Expressed as a percentage of daily gasoline demand, daily ethanol production was 11.03%.
