Indiana farm families have a lot in common with farm families in China. That is what Isabella Chism with Indiana Farm Bureau discovered while on the recent trade mission with Indiana Lt. Governor Becky Skillman. The Howard County farmer and 2nd VP of Indiana Farm Bureau said she found she had a lot in common with the farmers she met during her week in China, “They have the same interests for their people as we do for ours.” She added the Chinese leaders were trying to establish their place in the world economy while safeguarding and providing for their farm families.
