FFA Organization and Foundation Consolidating Leadership

FFA-logoThe executive management of the National FFA Organization and National FFA Foundation will be consolidated through a joint governance committee of the two boards, a common CEO and a common CFO. The move was approved unanimously by the FFA Board of Directors and the Foundation Board of Trustees. The plan includes implementation of an integrated management team to increase collaboration and communication across both boards. National FFA Advisor Dr. Steve Brown – Chairman of the National FFA Organization Board – says the belief is that these steps will strengthen FFA and agricultural education. By consolidating executive and financial management – he says the expectation is of better resource alignment, greater performance accountability, improved financial stability and transparency and speedy resolution of conflicts of interest. The joint governance committee will consist of members of both boards and will work with the common CEO. Current National FFA Organization CEO Dr. W. Dwight Armstrong has been appointed common CEO. The committee will work with Armstrong to fill the CFO position.
