AgriNovus Indiana, a Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP) sector initiative for the agbiosciences sector, announces Libby Fritz will manage communications and engagement for the organization. Fritz has relevant experience in managing events, media relations and communications for leading agriculture organizations including the Indiana State Fair Commission, Indiana State Department of Agriculture, and Kelsay Farm Tours.

“Telling Indiana’s stories of ag innovation and elevating the agbiosciences sector is one of the most important components of AgriNovus Indiana’s mission,” Beth Bechdol, president and CEO, AgriNovus Indiana said. “Libby’s professional and personal experiences coupled with her knowledge of food and agriculture are precisely what we need to promote the sector nationally.”

Fritz graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Communication and was raised on her family grain farm in Northwest Indiana.

AgriNovus Indiana also announced Dan Dawes, a recognized agribusiness leader, will be consulting for the organization on several projects including an ongoing talent and workforce assessment, oversight of the Innovation Councils, among others.  Dawes, a Six Sigma Master Black Belt, gained extensive experience in project management, marketing and sales roles for DuPont Pioneer over the past three decades. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from Purdue University and grew up on a dairy and grain farm in Northern Indiana.

“Dan will be a tremendous asset to AgriNovus in the coming months leading many important projects that will help benefit our stakeholders and advance the agbiosciences sector,” Bechdol added.
