Protec has announced it will offer E-15 at three Fuel-Gulf stations in the Atlanta metro area by the end of the summer. Growth Energy CEO Tom Buis congratulates Protec for bringing higher performing, lower cost fuel options to consumers in Georgia. Buis says the demand for E-15 is strong – and Growth Energy believes when consumers are given the choice – they will choose the less expensive fuel that is better for their engines and the environment – one that creates jobs in America and reduces U.S. dependence on foreign oil.
Buis says the Department of Energy has exhaustively tested E-15 and it is compatible with more than 80-percent of cars on the road today. Millions of miles have been driven on E-15 without a single issue – he says – and with a price tag well below that of regular gasoline – he says it is clear why more retailers are choosing to offer the fuel.
