Some of Indiana’s top 4-H youth attended the Indiana 4-H Leadership Congress over the weekend at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.  In addition to a daylong schedule of seminars, the annual Scholarship Awards Luncheon which was sponsored by CountryMark and Ice Miller, LLP presented top honors and scholarships to 34 individuals. Hoosier Ag Today was proud to sponsor the Communications Scholarship which was awarded to Elizabeth Biever of Vanderburgh County. “Agriculture will need good communicators in the future. We are proud to support 4-H youth who have the passion and skill to communicate about agriculture,” said Gary Truitt, President of Hoosier Ag Today, who presented the scholarship at the luncheon. “Elizabeth has shown great communication and leadership abilities in her 4-H club and has represented Indiana at the National 4-H Congress,” he added.   This is the 4th consecutive year Hoosier Ag Today has presented a scholarship at the Indiana 4-H Leadership Congress.
