Hoosier Ag Today to Live Video Stream Lt. Governor Debate on Agriculture

indiana govornor streamHoosier Ag Today has announced it will be providing live on-line coverage of the debate between the two candidates for Indiana’s Lt. Governor. The debate will take place on Tuesday, August 9, at 2:00 PM EDT. The live video stream can be seen on the Hoosier Ag Today web site, www.hoosieragtoday.com. Following the live event, a recording will be archived on the Hoosier Ag Today YouTube channel until the election in November.

The debate between Suzanne Crouch, the Republican candidate, and Christina Hale, the Democratic Candidate, will focus on agriculture and rural issues. A panel of reporters will ask the questions. They include: Gary Truitt, Hoosier Ag Today; Meghan Conant, Brownfield Network; and John Ketzenberger, Indiana Fiscal Policy Institute. The debate will be moderated by Gerry Dick, Inside Indiana Business.

The location for the event will be the Farm Bureau Building at the Indiana State Fair. It is expected that a large number of farmers and farm leaders will be in attendance. The debate is being arranged by the AgrIInstitute with sponsorship from Ice Miller LLP, Indiana Farm Bureau, Indiana Corn Growers Association, and Indiana Soybean Alliance Membership and Policy Committee.
