ISDA announces the hire of Lenny Carpenter as Director of Indiana Grain Buyers & Warehouse Licensing

ISDA LogoThe Indiana State Department of Agriculture (ISDA) announced today that Lenny Carpenter has been hired as the Director of Indiana Grain Buyers & Warehouse Licensing (IGBWLA). “Lenny’s vast experience in the grain industry makes him a great addition to our team,” said ISDA Director Ted McKinney. “We know he will provide exceptional leadership to the division of Indiana Grain Buyers & Warehouse Licensing.”

 

Carpenter is a graduate of The Ohio State University and has worked in the grain industry as a grain buyer and marketer for 28 years.   Prior to joining ISDA, he worked as the Branch Manager for John Stewart & Associates, Inc., with AgMark Brokerage Services, CBH Commodities, Inc. and most recently as a Personal Marketing Manager for Cargill, Inc.

 

In his role, Carpenter will be responsible for the overall management of the Indiana Grain Buyers and Warehouse Licensing Agency. He will cooperate and coordinate activities through the Indiana State Department of Agriculture and will work jointly with members of the grain industry throughout Indiana. Carpenter will report directly to the Deputy Director of ISDA and will also serve as chairperson of the Indiana Grain Indemnity Corporation Board of Directors.
