Lieutenant Governor Debate will Focus on Ag Issues

Agriculture will be at the forefront of a debate between lieutenant governor candidates Suzanne Crouch (R) and Christina Hale (D) at the Indiana State Fair on August 9. Voters will have a first-hand opportunity to understand the views of each candidate on agriculture and rural issues and their impact on Indiana’s economy. The debate takes place at 2:00 p.m. in the Farm Bureau Building Banquet Hall on the North side of the Fairgrounds and will be moderated by Gerry Dick of Inside INdiana Business. The candidates for lieutenant governor will face a panel to include Megan Conant, Indiana farm director, Brownfield Network; John Ketzenberger, president, Indiana Fiscal Policy Institute; and Gary Truitt, president, Hoosier Ag Today.
