Overnight Highlights

·         Grain markets mixed this morning with Soybeans finding support from higher Palm Oil prices due to flooding in key Palm Oil producing areas.

·         Corn a bit weaker to start the week on thoughts that export demand may be slowing and that the South American crop may be larger than expected.

·         Wheat is holding up on continued Russian export uncertainty.

·         Wednesday is first notice day for January grain futures contracts.

·         Commitment of Traders will be released today. Delayed due to the Christmas holiday.

·         Weekly export sales due at 7:30am. Analyst expectations; Corn 500k-750k mt, Soybean 400k-700k mt, Soy Meal 50k-175k mt, Wheat 250k-450k mt.
