Prominent Businessman and Ag Supporter to Speak at IFB District 10 Meeting

Farm Bureau members are invited to hear Forrest Lucas, owner of Lucas Oil, on Nov. 14 in Seymour, Ind.  He will keynote the Indiana Farm Bureau District 10 fall meeting, which begins at 6 p.m. at the Pines Evergreen Room in Seymour. Lucas will discuss his life, love of agriculture and partnership with the non-profit organization Protect the Harvest.  Protect the Harvest was created to fight back and defend American families, farmers, hunters and animal owners from the threat posed by the radical animal rights movement. Space is limited, and therefore reservations must be made by Nov. 5. Members of Farm Bureau from IFB District 10 can make reservations by calling their local Farm Bureau office. Media representatives can make reservations by calling Robert Schickel, District 10 director, at 812-989-3542.  IFB District 10 covers the following southeastern Indiana counties: Clark, Dearborn, Floyd, Harrison, Jackson, Jefferson, Jennings, Ohio, Ripley, Scott, Switzerland and Washington.
